You used to be able to push through anything, but now fatigue keeps you glued toĀ the couch.

You can live a big, full life again, and you don’t need to figure it out on your own.

Quick Chat with Cedar

You still haveĀ hope for a full and active life, but it feels like you've already tried everything to recover.Ā

You were probably a high-achiever before you got sick, and you turned that same attitude toward healing, to the point that it now feels like a full-time job.

You’re used to being able to just push through and figure it out, so the continuing fatigue might feel like the firstĀ F grade of your life.

You want to befriend your body, but after a lifetime of living from the neck up you struggle to understand what it needs. When the flare hits, fear takes over.Ā

You know there has to be a way out, but your doctors haven’t found it, and the cheery ā€œjust retrain your brainā€ gurus give you the ick. So many people are saying they have the one right approach, but you have not found anyone that can actually meet all of you.

That’s why I’m here. Not to show you the one right way to recover, but to walk with you as you find your way to healing. IĀ hold space for yourĀ wholeness and helpĀ you learn to trust your body again.

I know that when we create safety in the nervous system incredible things can happen. I’ve seen it in my own life - going from housebound to hiking mountains — and in myĀ clients who are stepping into their big lives with grounded peace and purpose.

There is no ā€œgoing backā€ to before, and you don’t have to stay stuck in the struggle of fatigue forever.

I can help you find joy and fulfillment right now, while building your capacity to do the things you love and show up for the people who matter.

Are you ready?

Photo of Cedar

Hi, I’m Cedar (they them), somatic practitioner and nervous system coach, recovering over-achiever, former gifted kid, dancer, and nature enthusiast. I struggled with chronic illnesses (IBS, POTS, ME/CFS, and more) all my life, until I discovered somatics and parts work. I started approaching my healing from a deep understanding of the nervous system. Now I bring the tools that helped me recover to support other people with chronic fatigue and chronic illness.

I believe it’s my highest calling to hold up a mirror of wholeness so you can experience the kind of safety that heals. When capitalism tells you you’re only worth what you do and produce, I remind you there is another way. I approach this work from an anti-ableist perspective, meaning that your value and happiness is not dependent on your health.

Whether you are learning to live better with fatigue and chronic illness, or you’re aiming for 100% recovery, I can help you meet your goals.

What coaching is and isn’t

Coaching is not therapy or medical treatment. I can’t treat, diagnose, or prevent any disease. I can support your work with your medical providers, but never replace them.

Somatic healing and parts work often touch on trauma and support trauma healing, but I am not a trauma therapist. For your safety, I don’t work with active suicidality, addiction, eating disorder, or other serious mental health concerns. I may ask you to engage a licensed therapist instead of or in addition to our sessions.

I cannot guarantee any specific outcome or results from our work together. Coaching and somatic work are incredibly powerful, butĀ there are no quick fixes, and anyone who promises one isn’t being honest with you. I can promise to approach our work with the utmost care and focused presence. I’ll also tell you honestly in our free consult if I don’t think you would benefit from working with me 1-1.

ā€œBefore finding Cedar Sacred Well, I had tried two other nervous system recovery programs. … Both programs I tried were top-down, brain-retraining approaches, and ultimately neither was right for me. … Then I found Cedar Sacred Well, and I finally understood what I had been missing: a bottom-up, somatic approach. … I began to feel again—not just the difficult emotions, but joy. Real joy.Ā Today, I am able to experience moments of joy every single day, and that is something I honestly wasn't sure I would ever feel again…

My nervous system felt safe the moment I met Cedar. … After so many years of searching, trying, pushing, and wondering what I was missing, finding a bottom-up somatic approach finally helped me understand that I didn’t need to try harder to think my way out of my symptoms. I needed to learn how to safely come home to my body.

And after a lifetime of feeling disconnected from my own body, feeling safe enough to come back into it has been life-changing.ā€ - Juli
